686<\/a><\/strong> has come up with a a pretty simple way to increase their social media reach\u2014free stuff. Each fall they use their email list, facebook and twitter accounts to give products to the kids. They call it 686 Day<\/strong>. This year the day has been extended to three days (November 12-14, 2010).<\/p>\n

Mark your calendar, 686 day 2010 is just four days away! We’re stepping it up this year with insane giveaways, and this year, we have shops around the globe participating! Each shop is doing a special promotion so check in with the one closest to you to find out what’s happening! We can tell you that each and every one will be giving away tons of 686 Gear! In the online contests, we’ll have full outerwear set-ups, boots, sneakers, layering, and some other surprises lined up for you to win! So let’s get to the good stuff\u2026<\/p>\n

The Details:
\nThis year we’re going global! Everyone has a chance at winning some gear, so make sure you bring your “A” game. The first three contests of the weekend are all email base, so step one is to sign up for our newsletter at 686.com. Once the contests are in motion, all answers will be submitted to freefridays@686.com. The last two contests of the daywill be through Facebook and Twitter. Don’t forget to add us on both; you must be a fan to play! You will only have a limited amount of time to send in your entries, so once it’s done, it’s done!<\/p>\n

Winners will be chosen at random.<\/p>\n

The first contest begins this Thursday, November 11 at midnight PST. Check your email for the first contest of 686 Day 2010!<\/p>\n
