But the mountain doesn&#8217;t want everyone to just come up for opening day. No, they&#8217;d like us all to stay all weekend. And to make it more enticing they&#8217;ve hooked up <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gig-blog.net\/wp-content\/gallery\/the-sounds\/the-sounds-001.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Maja Ivarsson<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/the-sounds.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Sounds<\/a><\/strong> to play Canyon Lodge on Saturday night (following the premiere of the <strong>Unbound Terrain Park<\/strong> movie <strong><em>Another Day In Paradise<\/em><\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Follow the jump for all the details.<br \/>\n<!--more-->The Sounds Kick Off Opening Weekend With Concert at Canyon Lodge Following Premiere of \u201cAnother Day in Paradise\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mammoth Mountain, CA \u2013 Swedish New Wave band The Sounds will be performing at Canyon Lodge on Saturday, November 13, 2010. The Sounds, who recently released their third studio album \u201cCrossing the Rubicon\u201d, are well known for their energetic and exciting live shows.<\/p>\n<p>The evening will kick off with the world premiere of \u201cAnother Day in Paradise\u201d by Play Big Productions presented by Mammoth Mountain and Snowboarder Magazine. \u201cAnother Day in Paradise\u201d features the Mammoth Unbound Team riding everything from Mammoth\u2019s world-famous terrain parks to the endless backcountry terrain surrounding the Mammoth area.<\/p>\n<p>Following the movie in The Village at Mammoth, party-goers can hop on The Village Gondola up to Canyon Lodge for a live performance by The Sounds presented by Mammoth Mountain and Vestal.<\/p>\n<p>All ages are welcome to the free outdoor premiere of \u201cAnother Day in Paradise\u201d in The Village at Mammoth.
