Revenues were up to record levels for the quarter ($2.2 billion), gross margins reached a record 46.5%, and earnings per share increased 14% to a record $2.22. <\/p>\n<p>The VF Outdoor &#38; Action sports businesses had record revenues, income, and margins thanks to &#8220;exceptional growth&#8221; from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/vans.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Vans<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenorthface.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">North Face<\/a><\/strong>, and<strong> <\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lucy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lucy<\/a><\/strong>. But in all that press release boosterism was not one mention of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reef.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Reef<\/a><\/strong>. None. In fact, the only place Reef was mentioned in the release was in the list of companies that VF owns.
