The woman driving the car is facing charges of &#8220;impaired driving,&#8221; according to a story in <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vancouversun.com\/news\/Driver+faces+charges+after+longboarder+struck+killed\/3618470\/story.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Vancouver Sun<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Cpl. <strong>Casey Vinet<\/strong> of the Abbotsford Police department. . . .said the driver, who had four passengers in the vehicle with her, pulled over immediately. He said evidence of alcohol was found in the vehicle. . . Vinet said witnesses indicated the longboarder, who was wearing a helmet, may not have stopped at the stop sign. . .
