Apparently, they just keep borrowing more money. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacsun.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pac Sun<\/a><\/strong> just announced that on August 20, 2010 they borrowed $29.8 million more, according to a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/874841\/000095012310080292\/a57137e8vk.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Form 8-K<\/a><\/strong> filed with the SEC.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>On August 20, 2010, Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (the \u201cCompany\u201d), through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Miraloma Borrower Corporation, a Delaware corporation (\u201cMiraloma\u201d), and Pacific Sunwear Stores Corp., a California corporation (\u201cPacSun Stores\u201d), executed two promissory notes pursuant to which borrowings in an aggregate amount of $29.8 million from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.anico.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">American National Insurance Company<\/a><\/strong> (\u201cAnico\u201d) were incurred.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Because no one has more money than the insurance companies. . . and this will probably help get Pac Sun around the corner, right?<\/p>\n<p><strong>[Link: <\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/874841\/000095012310080292\/a57137e8vk.htm\" target=\"_blank\">SEC<\/a><\/strong><strong>]<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve always wondered how mall retailers stay in business.
