Walker Ryan<\/strong> and friends had a pretty rough go tonight (June 28, 2010) at The Shuffl Video<\/a><\/strong> premiere in San Diego. First, they could only invite 160 of their friends, then before they could even show the video the manager of the Pearl Hotel<\/a><\/strong> called the cops.<\/p>\n

“We had too many people in here,” one bar tender said. “They were over-running the place. There was a crowd out front, people were sneaking in through the kitchen, the back door, and coming in through the windows. So we’re clearing the place out.”<\/p>\n

\"122400506\"<\/a>Not that the final Shuffl video edits were even done. While the cops were flushing the crowd from the poolside bar downstairs, the finishing touches were being applied to the video upstairs in a hotel room edit suite. After most had left the hotel quieted down, and within minutes up came the title credits and an applause from the thinned out crowd.<\/p>\n

It was well worth the wait. The Shuffl video features standout parts by David Cole<\/strong>, Austin Kanfoush<\/strong>, Walker Ryan<\/strong>, and Tom Remillard<\/strong> and included loads of cameos (check it out and you’ll see what we mean).<\/p>\n

As soon as last credit rolled the cops strolled back in and pressed everyone out the front door a second time. It was nice to see our tax dollars going to help hotels regulate their own tiny bars. <\/p>\n
