And when she&#8217;s not designing clever ways to make the interior of a two story concrete pushups look more inviting she&#8217; apparently had time to design a home for her family in Tustin, California&#8217;s Lemon Heights, according to a story on <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thisisbrandx.com\/2010\/06\/california-architecture-thats-built-for-today.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Is Brand X<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI wanted the house to be a vivid reflection of built work that was Californian and a direct response to our time and to this place,\u201d she says, \u201cnot a dim reflection of a misremembered style from another lifetime and another continent.\u201d . . . Free from constraints, Hasell designed her three-bedroom, three-bathroom house that harnesses natural light, conserves energy and enhances comfort throughout 3,300 square feet dug into the eucalyptus-shaded slope.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>From the look of this beautiful home she&#8217;s seems to be most comfortable working in concrete.
