Then it was discovered that oddly enough Gaylord, Michigan is the world epicenter of snowboard halfpipe training.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Enter the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.otsegoclub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Otsego Club<\/a><\/strong> in Gaylord, MI and <strong>Planet Snow<\/strong> (who built the massive pipes at resorts such as Park City and Winter Park) to build a 22\u2032 halfpipe at the private club. To date <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.otsegoclub.com\/winter\/event-calendar.html\/news_id\/68\/\" target=\"_blank\">Canada, France, Poland, South Korea, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Germany, Italy and Switzerland<\/a><\/strong> have arrived in the small town to train, and as of Friday the 22nd, and team Finland was en route to the Alpine Village. Not only is there a world class halfpipe, but <strong>Marc Andrew Tart<\/strong> brought his own personal mega bag \u201cfor people to learn doubles or break fibulas in,\u201d Corey said.
