The recently engaged Nick Visconti is back for another season of the Dangerzone, however, this season it appears to be named DZ:MA for Dangerzone for Mature Audiences only. The first episode features the ABC’s of park tricks and is great for kids just starting out. Two warnings: there’s still no such thing as a frontside Indy and be careful where you Zeach.
The Annual Bear MountainHot Dawgs & Hand Rails event on Saturday September 18, 2010 was a reminder that Tahoe Dangerzone star Nick Visconti isn’t just another sports model with a pretty face, pleasing physique, and melodious singing voice. No, he’s a real-deal rail slayer.
“I felt like I rode hard and landed progressive and creative tricks on each feature,” says Nick Visconti. “The level of riding was amazing. Literally on another level. Any one of the competitors could have taken first because everyone was destroying it.”
Capita Snowboard’s celebrated their 10th year anniversary at the Denver SIA Show on January 31, 2010. Luckily for us, the Tahoe Dangerzone was there to get it all down on video. . .
Josh and Nick are still rocking the danger. . . whether you like it or not. One question: what’s with the “Guest pros?” Is the Dangerzone going corporate? Gawd, we hope not. . .
We have to admit it: few things make us feel more like going on a spring shred session than watching a Tahoe Dangerzone video. It’s kind of creepy to say, but Nicki Fresh and the crew make it all look new again.
After nearly 15 years of blogging it is so good to see the kids finally sparking up the torch and getting up on the web their own way. Here’s one we just added to the blogroll: it’s tagged The Dangerzone “A Dangerous Insight Into The Extremities of Tahoe Living.” Robbie Sell with a switchblade knife? That’s just the kind of danger we’re looking for.
Check it out and then you’ll know what’s going on at The Lake.
Man about shred Nick Visconti (former Tahoe Dangerzoner) has launched a coffee roasting company in Truckee, California called Drink Coffee Do Stuff.
“For many reasons snowboarding and roasting coffee are similar; more importantly, they both require style, Visconti says. “I am proud of our coffees; they are an actualization of my five-year journey as a coffee roaster, and perfectly highlight their origin characteristic with unforgettable sweetness. DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF is committed to creating four season jobs for four season residents, and contributing to a local economic and employment strategy where money made in Truckee/North Tahoe is spent in Truckee/North Tahoe.”
