Danny Kass will reportedly appear in a Wanaka New Zealand Court on Monday August 24, 2009 to face charges of “endangering public safety” after driving his Grenade van up a ski run at the Cardrona Ski Field, according to a story in the Otago Daily Times.
Constable Mike Johnston, of Wanaka, said Kass had spoken to Cardrona staff about having his conspicuously-painted van towed to the halfpipe for a promotional photo shoot, The Mountain Scene reported. . .Kass allegedly drove the vehicle up a crowded main trail. . .The vehicle got stuck and, because snow conditions were soft, it could have rolled over and slid down the skifield, Const Johnston said.
And we thought Danny’s trip to New Zealand couldn’t get any better.

between the weed, and this, I am surprised the main stream media has not gotten on it with an olympic medalist etc, seems like its been pretty quiet.
The US press must be on holiday -because this Olympian’s antics do not meet the USSA’s code of conduct – by any stretch of the imagination.
who cares, more people watch danny and the snowboard events then any other event in the Olympics. you pull the plug on danny and his “antics” and you pull the plug on advertiser TV commercial money. It’s not that they don’t care, they don’t care enough to get in the way of making $ & who is to argue with that.
