Brenton Troy Gerholdt, 27, a former employee of a “ski hill” in Burnsville, Minnesota has been arrested for allegedly stealing snowboards while on the job, according to a story on CBS Minnesota.
After a stolen snowboard turned up on Craigslist police investigated.
Officers checked to see when other snowboards were being stolen, and checked against Gerholdt’s work schedule. They found that he had been working all but one of the times snowboards had been reported stolen at the ski hill.
Sounds like a pretty dumb way to a resort employee to get a raise. Gerholdt faces of to five years in prison if convicted.

The “ski hill” must be Buck Hill Ski Area. That is the only place to Ride in Burnsville and with “16 runs and 8 lifts” its a big deal in the Twin Cities area.
