Hearing In Williams Murder Begins Today

Kut6Oz-B78585406Z.120091217101417000Gmulesoe.1Philong Huynh the 39-year-old man accused of killing Hurley intern Dane Williams, 23, during the ASR Show in San Diego in January 2008 will appear for his preliminary hearing today, according to a story in the OC Register.

Huynh was arrested in September and could get the death penalty if convicted. Huynh pleaded not guilty to two charges of sexual assault and murder with a special circumstance of sodomy. . . A second unnamed victim who survived an alleged sexual assault by Huynh is slated to testify today in a preliminary hearing. The victim’s case was separated from Williams’ case which will have a preliminary hearing Feb. 23.
