The Myth Busting Snowboard Is Here

by The Editors on September 30, 2009

We never like to laugh at people who are ignoring the crowd and trying something new, but occasionally we can’t help ourselves. Storm Snowboards marketing video, just might be one of those times.

it is too bad that the people doing the jumps are not using that board. And it doesn’t look it was used on anything other than a catwalk.

short skis are awesome also.

most videos use slow-motion…this one is on ffwd. Think they’ve heard of a noboard?

Another genius inventor. One word for you buddy- ‘Retarded’

Kevin September 30, 2009 at 3:28 pm

How uncomfortable did every single person look on that thing! Idiots just trying to make a buck. Would love to have a conversation with the inventor.

Randy Wasserman is a fucking tool. I met him at SIA and ended up with the dvd promo for this thing he was going around to companies trying to get them interested in it. This is right up there with The Whip, Ed Hardy, and a string of other bad ideas.

Sad thing is that crap will probably end up in the Sky Mall Catalog on planes and actually sell.

I fear for snowboard boot manufacturers worldwide. This is indeed game changing. Forget one footed airs. Now we can do airwalks, varials and dare I say.. no-complys!!!

When that metal riff kicked in, I was totally sold. A little bit of electric guitar adds credibility to anything.

What a sham! This kook doesn’t even make anything. Check his website. He’s hyping up this crappy “Next generation” snowboard that doesn’t even exist yet. He has some patent for a horrible idea, and is trying to get investors and manufacturers to make the prodcut. Please keep the Trust Fund Babies out of snowboarding.

its a shame Billy Mays is dead cuz he’d probably be able to pitch this piece of crap.. notice none of the people hitting jumps in this video are using the board.. the only thing this board needs is some training wheels to go with that brake.

One of the many “great” new products at SIA, right up there with the transparent snowboard. But I’m with you shocked, would love to have seen Billy Mays sell this.

Easy now . . . 25 years ago, everyone put us down and made fun of us too. Maybe Randy Wasserman is onto something. It looks a lot like noboarding – but with control. What’s wrong with that?

Randy Wasserman is a great guy and does not deserve these ugly comments! He didn’t invent his snowboard for people who already are accomplished snowboarders. he invented it for all the other people who might like to try it, or who gave up because it was too hard.

Not too bad though. But this requires some training. Will love to have one of these
