by The Editors on September 24, 2009

Milton-Wiillis1Pro surfer Milton Willis, 53, (pictured right with his twin brother) was sentenced to “four years in prison yesterday for driving drunk in a car crash” that killed his 24-year-old passenger, Bradley Dillahunty, 24, in Del Mar, California on June 6, 2008, according to a story in the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Willis, who nearly died in the accident early on June 6, 2008, had been driving Dillahunty’s Toyota Avalon with Dillahunty as his passenger. The car was traveling at more than 65 mph in a 25 mph zone on northbound Coast Highway before running a stop sign at 20th Street and crashing.

This was Willis’ second drunk driving conviction.
